Reading Trade Publications of this sort is a great way to stay current with what is happening within the MSP industry space. As an MSP business owner, it helps you understand the industry, it helps you engage with Vendors and Distributors more effectively, and gives you a competitive edge.
I keep up to date with many of the following publications either by RSS feed, through their Social media channels, or through old-fashioned reading printed copy!

Channel Biz – news, views and Best Practice information from many different areas of the Channel.
Channelnomics – news, analysis and opinion for the IT Channel. Can be US-centric, but still a good resource.
ChannelE2E – Editors Joe Panettieri and Amy Katz share an amazing amount of top quality content, news and interviews with industry figures.
Channel Pro – news and information on many of the top MSP Vendors in the UK.
Cloud Pro – news and information site aimed at the growing Cloud Computing market.
ConsumerIT – aimed at PC Retailers and Distributors, with the advent of Bring Your Own Device (BYOD) and the consumerisation of IT, the site nevertheless has some useful news and insight into the latest tech.
CRN ChannelWeb – the latest news for the UK Channel, as well as a great resource for community-based events and trade shows.
European Solution Provider – news and insight for Value Added Resellers who traditionally sell Hardware & Software, but are increasingly moving to Solution based sales.
IT Europa – strategic business intelligence, news and analysis on the European IT market.
IT Pro – IT news and analysis from some of the top technology journalists in the industry.
MicroScope – IT Channel and Reseller news, with many regular articles on laws, regulations, credit and finance and more.
MSP Mentor – arguably the ultimate guide to the Managed Service space worldwide.
TD Newsflash – Produced by IT Distributor TechData, Newsflash offers 60 pages of industry news, product news and ‘how to’ information.
PC Pro – aimed at IT Professionals, PC Pro nevertheless has a tonne of invaluable content and in-depth features that allow MSP’s to stay at the forefront of the ever-changing IT industry.
PCR – aimed at the retail IT market rather than the Managed Service market, PCR still has some valuable content for those selling Hardware and Software and has a specific Channel feed.
The Register – news, reviews and insight into the Technology channel – often in the most cutting and humorous fashion.
