It was October 2011 when I wrote about my thoughts on the first GFI Max UK Customer Conference which took place that year in Oxfordshire. This year, GFI Max have doubled the size of the UK conference as well as the other GFI Max Customer Conferences 2012 taking place in New Orleans, Munich and Australia.
The vast majority of my IT company clients use GFI Max as their RMM tool and so I’ll be attending the UK Conference taking place on Thursday 11th – Friday 12th at Twickenham Stadium & Marriott Hotel in London.
In the past few days I’ve had a number of people ask me whether it’s worthwhile attending, so I thought I’d share that from the sneak peek I’ve snuck at the agenda reveals that there are some great sessions on offer – including a variety of Technical sessions covering everything from Linux and Virtualization to Managed Online Backup, Scripting and SNMP, Managed Security and more, plus a range of business keynotes covering commercial tips on growing your business.
There will also be a number of GFI Max advanced feature sessions presented by fellow GFI Max users, and importantly, a Roundtable event where you can provide personal feedback to the GFI Max team.
As with all these conferences though, one of the biggest benefits you’ll get is from being in the room and networking with so many other successful IT companies. Don’t underestimate how much you’ll gain from this – it’s one of the ways I really accelerated the growth of my own MSP business.
I also wanted to give you a heads-up that the deadline for early bird registration expires June 30th, 2012. The early bird registration fee is almost half price, and GFI are offering a prize draw for early bird registrants for hotel suite upgrades too.
If you’re a GFI Max user, or considering using GFI Max and are on the fence about attending – trust me, do it. It’s two days out of the office that are well spent.
