On a Friday I try to post my favourites from the week – links to cool content and tools that I’ve found or had recommended to me.
Cool stuff I’ve found this week, ending 15th March, 2013:-
- Bulkr – A desktop app to backup, browse & download photos & videos on Flickr.
- Summly – Pocket sized news aggregator for iPhone and iPad. Pulls together news stories from around the web in an easy to read format. Thanks to Karen Strunks for the link!
- Skillshare – Skillshare is a global community centred around creativity, collaboration and learning by doing. There are some fantastic bite-sized learning courses available on-line. I’ve started a “Learn to Program” coding course in March!

I like your Friday favourite posts Richard… I use Flipboard on my iPhone, I can link it up to all my social media networks and get an overview of all the articles posted. I downloaded Feedly yesterday, ready for when Google Reader closes, it’s quite good too for my RSS feeds. Have a good weekend!
Thanks Jo! I’m a big fan of Flip board too. I still hold hope Google will reverse their decision on closing Google Reader… Fingers crossed!
I think you’d better cross more than your fingers, I read there was a petition which Google have ignored…
