My Friday Favourite this week is Action for Happiness – A Personal Action Coach in Your Pocket.
What is it?
The Action for Happiness app gives you friendly nudges on your smartphone. It shares an inspiring or uplifting action idea each day.
How can it help me?
I am a big fan of the motto “Win the morning, win the day”. The Action for Happiness app helps give you a positive mindset each morning.
I have written before about 3 ways to build better habits immediately, and surrounding yourself with positive reminders is a good habit that everyone can benefit from.
I’ve found the app gives timely reminders of things I should be grateful for. It offers tips on actions I can take to help be happier every day.
The app is based on the actions published by Action for Happiness in their excellent monthly action calendars.
Every day the app will push you a couple of friendly nudges. It will share an action message in the morning, and an inspiring message towards the end of the day.
I’ve found that taking a moment to slow down and read these messages is a welcome break on any busy day.
