NETWORKFOUR - A CHARITY FOR THE VULNERABLE

A charity I’m a big supporter of is Networkfour based in my hometown of Birmingham, UK.

Networkfour (NW4) is a registered charity that holds a vision and passion to support those who are at risk and vulnerable.

The NW4 team want to prevent the impact of poverty and criminality on the communities of Birmingham.

Therefore, the team support hundreds of at risk individuals and families each year.

They help these individuals leave behind vulnerability and lives that have been negatively involved within the criminal justice system.

The NW4 team has a vision to provide care, integrated effective intervention, and signposting.

More importantly, the charity works to offer real opportunities for change.

How you can help Networkfour

Each month, I donate a portion of the profits from my business to Networkfour.

Additionally, I frequently receive kind messages from individuals and organisations in the IT industry.

These messages come from people who have been positively impacted by my writing or speaking, and want to say thank you to me.

Therefore, one way you can say thank you and pay it forwards is to support Networkfour.

SUPPORT AND PREVENTION

Vulnerability and crime affects us all either directly, or as a victim.

As a result, we are all impacted when we are affected within the communities and neighbourhoods that we are part of.

To tackle this, Networkfour is a registered charity that has, for the last ten years held a vision and passion to support those who are at risk and vulnerable.

As a result, Networkfour help to prevent the impact of poverty and criminality on the communities of Birmingham.

POSITIVELY ENGAGE

In order to do this work, Networkfour positively engage those who feel society has little or nothing to offer them, other than poverty, deprivation and for some criminality.

Therefore, Networkfour support hundreds of at risk clients each year to leave behind vulnerability and lives negatively involved within the criminal justice system.

It is Networkfour’s vision to provide care, integrated effective intervention, signposting, and more importantly the offer of real opportunities for change.

As a result, with 10 years of experience supporting those most in need, Networkfour continue to work effectively with organisations such as West Midlands Police, Birmingham City Council, Prisons, local charity networks and private landlords.

SUPPORT AND INTERVENTION

Then, every client is given access to a growing 3rd sector network of support and intervention, aligned to their nine city-wide care pathways.

What this means is that the Networkfour referral process offers individual young people and adults in or at risk of vulnerability and poverty, or being drawn into criminality, a credible and safe alternative and route out of their difficult situations.
