In 2023, our calendar was bursting with great events for Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and IT business owners to attend.
Here at Tubblog, we managed to attend several events, which we were able to reflect upon shortly after. These reflections were recorded as travelogues.
The On The Road Travelogues were a chance to share our views on the event, the speakers and the presentations.
Alongside our key takeaways, we also had a chance to inject a bit a fun into these recordings – in the form of quizzes.
Below we’ve the collected the five On The Road travelogue recordings we made in 2023, for you to revisit.
Introduction
Beginning as an idea to debrief Team Tubb after an event, we began the On The Road Travelogues to give our verdict on the events we had just visited.
It was a good way to discuss the event, and pick out our highlights, as well as speakers and trends to look out for.
Then we thought, perhaps others might like to know what we thought as well.
On The Road Episode #1: Channel-Sec 2023
The first travelogue took place as a follow-on from Richard Tubb and Stephen McCormick‘s visit to Channel-Sec conference in London, in May 2023, including some of Stephen’s prior travel mishaps.
On The Road Episode #2: CompTIA Channelcon 2023
The second travelogue took place in August in Las Vegas, Nevada for CompTIA Channelcon. Richard gave his key moments with Akamai Linode‘s James Steel, and they discuss the rejuvenating oxygen bar.
On The Road Episode #3: Huntress Breaches & Brews UK Tour 2023
In October, cybersecurity experts Huntress toured four cities in the UK: London, Manchester, Birmingham and Bristol. Richard and Tracie Orisko discuss how the events went, kebab meat and chips and Brummie slang.
On The Road Episode #4: Managed Services Summit North 2023
Richard and Stephen talk about their highlights from the MSS North event, which took place in November, including meeting footballing legend Kevin Keegan.
On The Road Episode #5: B2B Marketing Expo and Contact Centre Tech Expo 2023
Richard and Pascal Fintoni went to the ExCel in London in November for two valuable conferences. Listen to their takeaways from the expos and which desserts they decided upon.
On The Road Returns in 2024
Team Tubb will return with more On The Road Travelogues in 2024, were Richard and the team will be reporting on more great events for MSPs and IT business owners. And of course, more quizzes.
